The automobile bumper block is a device that can limit the maximum deformation of the suspension. It reduces the direct impact of the axle on the frame (or body) and prevents excessive deformation of the elastic elements. The buffer block is made up of rubber block, steel plate and bolt. Some buffer blocks are made of porous polyurethane and hollow inside.

Most of the cushioning blocks of modern cars are made of porous polyamine, and rubber materials are gradually replaced by them. The porous buffer blocks made of polyamines have the advantages that the following rubber can not replace: the small mass, about the size of the 1/2 of the same size rubber buffer block, has good nonlinear characteristics.
